Wallpaper For Children

Wallpaper For Children Biography
Are you superorganized and started planning your child’s bedroom as soon as you were pregnant? That’s pretty neat. I can’t say that I fell into that bucket. But I do know many people who finished decorating before their baby was born. I also know many parents who really didn’t start doing anything until well after the child’s first year. Whichever bucket you fall into, picking the mood and the ambiance can be very challenging. A neutral theme with colors like green, yellow and red works well if you don’t know the gender of your child or if you have two kids with different personalities in the same room. Also, you don’t have to use the same wallpaper across the whole room, you can choose to use a different on one wall if you are concerned that your child will grow out of it, or if you would like each child to feel properly represented in a shared room.
Please note that wallpaper can be quite hard to put on since you have to match the corners, so many parents may elect to hire a professional to do so. By the same token, it can be a real pain to remove…you may have to use steam or chemicals, so keep this in mind. Some companies do make temporary wall paper like lilsugar.com. I like the idea of the temporary wallpaper because your child will evolve and change his or her interests over time. So perhaps, the apple wallpaper is cute until your little boy or girl becomes four or five and then, they are obsessed with robots or ballerinas.
This is probably why I kind of prefer the animal themes. My favorite wallpaper though is hands down the collaged wallpaper which the Novogratz family presented on an interior design show. I loved that! I think it’s a brilliant way to capture a child’s history and to showcase the immediate and extended family in a room. I also liked that it was black and white collaged wallpaper as opposed to color. Another favorite below, is the red and white candy wallpaper, the color and the theme would carry a child through the teenage years without being too embarrassing or typecasty. I was amazed at how many owl designs and cars there are ….this must be very popular, with the owls representing night. Here are my picks
